The Eclipser Mark-IX was the culmination of the Eclipser Initiative, a secretive project commissioned by a rogue planetary council in the mid-colonization phase of the galaxy. The council sought to establish supremacy over newly-discovered Trilium deposits within Nebula D-451, a star system perpetually shadowed by unstable dark matter zones. These deposits were guarded by unpredictable gravitational eddies, making it near-impossible for conventional starships to navigate safely. Verisyn Orbital Yards answered the council's call with an extraordinary prototype: the Eclipser Mark-IX. With its dual-hull design, advanced sensors, and graviton disruptors, the vessel was capable of “cutting” through dark matter anomalies, opening fleeting pathways where none existed.
